I would like to upload our R ladies Lyon meetings events and slides to the R Ladies global added to github to create meetup_presentations_lyon folder

Perhaps I have misunderstood the instructions for the setup
"Contact any of the admins (e.g. @hannah) of the GitHub organisation to be added as a member."

add language to the "retiring a chapter" section of the starter kit to communicate how a chapter organizer can update contact information should they be passing along the chapter to someone new.

From recent experience, you can now simply upload the hex-logo-with-text.png file, and they'll process it correctly (aka they don't need a bleed anymore). It would be great to revise the sticker instructions to reflect this!

This will make it easier to use this data in other applications (e.g. rladies.org website). The best way to do it would be to write a quick script to parse the markdown file and turn it into a CSV. @lauracion noticed the remote chapter is missing. All the info need to be added back.

For both the URL and the email address

The starter-kit is nor surpassed bu the organisational guide, and much of its content has already been moved to new homes.
The remaining content should also find new homes, so we can archive this repo.

• The ES folder contains some rules&guidelines in both English and Spanish, and these should likely be present in some form on either the website or the organisational guide.
• The ROCUR folder contains materials to create ROCUR twitter cards en announcements etc. Are these needed here or do they exist other places?

I'm interested in putting together a resource specifically for Meetup organizers that goes over some of the following material:

• How to organize effective events
• How to spread the word about your Meetup
• How to get sponsors (and swag) for your Meetup
• How to recruit and support co-organizers
• Tricky issues: some perspectives on allowing men to come + teaching effective allyship
• How to build a community that runs itself!

We have resources about starting chapters, but nothing about how to effectively run and organize a chapter once you've started one! I would love to put things that I've learned in the process of starting a Meetup in one place and share it with future organizers.

I'm envisioning this as a resource that would allow women, some of whom may never have organized a community group before, to build their confidence in their R-Ladies organizing.

Now this page redirects to a new page (which is not the code of conduct): https://guide.rladies.org/

I navigated in the webpage and found the CC page https://guide.rladies.org/about/coc/ , which refers to another link: https://rladies.org/code-of-conduct/ which haves the CC only in English. In the end of the page there is a link to Portuguese and Spanish (https://github.com/rladies/starter-kit/wiki/Code-of-Conduct#portuguese ) but the code of conduct has been removed

We currently have a CSV which includes everyone who currently is part of the global team and also people who are no longer affiliated with R-Ladies. Let's break this out into two CSVs: global-team.csv and former-global-team.csv or global-team-alumni.csv

PDF Files are pretty but hard to edit. Convert these to Markdown for maximum collaborations!

@melvidoni we moved everything to a new file (Current-Chapters.csv) so I will make the changes you proposed in this new file.

R-Ladies Mendoza had their second meetup recently. Please update status chapter to Active.
