get older messages

would need to keep track of received messages, then request all the ones in between from the api.

could be a lot of data in some cases especially across many teams etc so should probably require user interaction of some sort.

users.info doesn't always have what I need

does not wake up

won't resolve until the distant future, but: if this is running and then the computer is closed, when the computer opens up and things start being done again, the connection is lost.
