I think it is good.
Actually, OpenCR and CommXEL are using that function.

I think it would be nice to add functionality to OpenCM 9.04.
In this regard, we may receive your PR to make your contribution. What would you like to do?

I will work on a PR, probably the most simplistic version as mentioned of updating Serial.getBaudRate to return this value.

I will then make a version of the Serial to Serial2 example program, that allows the user to make use of it.

Probably under #ifdef
Example if BAUDRATE is defined, then always use it, else use whatever USB tells you...

As for the example: it was already an existing example, I just added a little to it. But will add comments such as you suggested to future examples.

Not sure if this one can be closed yet, or you wait until it gets into public release.
