I had some problems using the notes, when specifying -o as a .csv file
however, without specifying the file extension, it works:

This is a great contribution to the ASReview universe and highly wanted by users, see the discussion at asreview/asreview#1220.
When I ran the extension I ran into an issue. To reproduce:
I initiated a project in ASReview, added one note, and exported the project: example-ptsd.zip (The file I used is attached (it needs to be unzipped first).)
When running
asreview notes_export example-ptsd.asreview
I obtained the following warning:

pip install asreview-notes-export leads to the following error message:

Using ASReview Version 1.1.1. on macOS Ventura 13.1
The extension looks very promising, would love to try it out!

Add tests that will run automatically using Git flow everytime when code is pushed to the main branch
It could be helpful to add an option to export the results to a custom filename using - o.
