Using the latest official release from 2 years ago is fine, however using master results in much larger line-height than before.

Granted, even after countless hours of trying to figure out what's going on, I'm no closer to figuring out the arcane workings of fonts on linux. So for now my workaround is to use the working version.

In case you don't know, st is a terminal by suckless: http://st.suckless.org/

All the other fonts I've tried work fine except creep.

In the config.h I'm doing:

static char font[] = "creep";

st uses fontconfig for defining the font.

May be related to #1.

1. tried to convert your font here: http://www.freefontconverter.com/
   the site does not recognize "creep.bdf" as a font file
2. the latest FontForge Windows Edition as of 2014-10-18 reports this:
   Various specifications of PIXEL_SIZE do not match in {file_path}/creep.bdf.

The last font release was in 2014, but some commits have been published since then. Since the project is in maintenance mode, it would be nice to tag the latest version in master as something like 1.0.0 to mark that it is final. But any version number would do! This would allow users to download the latest version instead of the 2014 release.

Not sure what exactly the issue is, but when using this in my topbar, each space character seems very wide.

(generally the text is very close to the icons)

I'm just using -*-creep-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* but I've tried multiple combinations in xfontsel.

Any help would be appreciated. Looks great otherwise :)

I like the style. Did you use some generator or is it handmade?

Perhaps an issue with vendor code, but creep cannot be compiled to json format by the toolset in ttystudio https://github.com/chjj/ttystudio#choosing-a-new-font-for-your-terminal-recording

It would be very nice to use this font for terminal recording, and drawing from it's json pixel format. It seems as though this script cannot find the glyphs properly. I have used this script on other bdf formatted fonts and it's always worked.

Can I somehow help to bring caron support to Creep?

I've downloaded FontForge and I've yet to figure out the magical combination of steps to make a Windows compatible version of Creep...even after looking at a few pages on the web showing how to do it.

It looks like the perfect font for me though. Thanks for all of your efforts.

I've recently upgraded my laptop to a retina macbook pro and creep looks horrible on it.
I would like to update creep to work with retina too, but have no clue how to do this.

Very cool font! I've converted it into Scalable Screen Font and added it to my repo. I've noted the MIT license and added a link back to this repo. If you'd like any other attribution, please let me know.

If you wonder, there are 831 glyphs defined currently, and here's the UNICODE block coverage report for creep:
