Description

A working Express.js API connected to a MySQL database that allows POST, GET, DELETE, and PUT requests.

Installation

To install this project you will need to use MySQL and a text editor like Visual Studio Code. You will also need node.js to install the npm packages via npm install.

Usage

To initialize the project, create a database called ecommerce_db in mysql workbench. You can then type node seeds/index.js to easily seed the database. Initialize the server with npm start, and then use an API tester like Insomnia or Postman to test your API requests.

Tests

This app was not built with test-driven development. Console.logs were used to test functionality.
