i did:

pip install screenpen
python -m screenpen

in other words i dont see my desktop

during installation i also got some WARNING:

I successfully installed Python 3.12 on Windows 10, PyQt5 is present, I followed your instructions to install screenpen 0.2.0. There was no error message and then type screenpen in command prompt, but nothing happens, except normal return to command prompt for next command. There was no error message, no successful message and overall no screenpen tools displayed.
What's wrong?

I'm trying to open the screenpen but I get this error message instead of the window to select the screen. I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with X11 and Python 3.

Thanks for creating screenpen! It looked perfect for my needs.
It did not work on my Macbook Air M1 though, where PyQt5 has issues but PyQt6 works well.

So I ported the code and here is the fork, in case anyone ever needs it:

After I select a tool and a color, I can't draw over screen. I get spammed in the console by messages like these.
