An analysis of the relationship between NDVI and climatic paramters in Nigeria using the Multiple Linear Regression and LOESS Smoothing for identifying turning points in the time series data. Plus, a test for monotonic trends using the Mann Kendall Trend Test and the Sen's slope to ascertain the magnitude of the trends in each of NDVI, rainfall and temperature data in Nigeria between 1980 and 2019
