This is very specific to Medievia, so including the data sets would be great. It's hard to create good item databases as so few people play, there's not much to scrape from auctions and the catalog. Even a minimal example data set would be good. Cheers.
I've never really used a Haskell project before, so I didn't have an environment set up. Using stack (or some alternative?) would simplify installing dependencies and building.
If an item has weight X, allow the item to declare an item weight bonus Y so that eqoptimizer treats the item as weighing XY. The bonus weight is a knob to account for weightless properties such as skill proficiency.
