Ok, so I figured out the bug, but am not a programer and have no way of
knowing how to help you other than to explain it.
So, when you go to the comments tab on iPhone BGG, in italics at the top it
says "First 50 Comments."
The problem happens on games that have more than 50 Comments. Agricola, as
in my example above, has 2334 Personal Comments. I didn't count every
repeated entry, but with the way the scrolling bar moved on the side of the
screen, I could almost certainly guess that the 50th comment was repeated
2284 times.
Battle of the Bands: Encore Edition only has 48 comments, and thus doesn't
have a repeating comment.
Battleship Express has 73 comments, and the 50 comment repeats 23 times.
I hope this information can help you figure the problem out. I wish I knew
more about programing to be better able to help.
Keep up the great work!

Upon updating to BGG 1.7, none of the icons for games in my Games Owned list
are displayed,
although the previous version of BGG displayed them, apparently having cached
them on the
iPhone. BGG appears to fetch a game icon only when information for that game is
displayed. I
suggest BGG have a way to fetch icons for all games in the Games Owned list. It
would also be nice
if it retained icons when the BGG version is upgraded.

It would be nice if all forums could merge into an "All" forum so you could
see everything posted to a game as per the way the website works. Also, if
you could invert the thread so that new stuff is on top, that would be nice
as well.
Great work, and thanks a lot!

The Save screen has a few usability issues:
1. You can modify the settings before the server sync then have your
settings reverted.
2. There's an extra dialog to acknowledge after saving.
These can easily be fixed:
1. Disable all the buttons until the server sync is completed. This makes
it much more obvious that the user needs to wait and removed confusion
around having the settings reverted/changed when the server sync is done.
2. Remove the dialog and instead on a successful save change the red 'Save'
button to a green 'Saved' button, which reverts back to red 'Save' when a
setting is changed.

Games Played needs a bit of reorg. Three views would make this more usable:
sorted by date, sorted by count and sorted alphabetically.
Sort by date would allow knowing what the last 'n' games played were and
when. This will mean there will be duplicate game names in the list. Games
played on the same date could be grouped here (representing a gaming session).
Sort by count would allow knowing how many times a game has been played -
sorting from most played to least seems to get the most use (see
Friendless' extended stats). Here, I'd have both the game name and the #
plays in each row rather than grouping as grouping doesn't add anything.
Last played date would be a nice to have in the row as well (perhaps when
in landscape).
Sort alphabetically (as you do now) would complete the set. In this case #
plays and last played on date would be valuable to show as I can see myself
looking up a specific game to see when I last played it and how many times
I've played it.
It would be neat to color code the rows based on nickel and dime status as
well as recent and ancient status (color code the text for # plays and last
played date perhaps).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the app and navigate to either "Games to Play" or "Games Played".
The current list is correctly downloaded from BGG.
2. Add or remove a play or the "Want to Play" status from a game the
already existed in your collection on the BGG website.
3. Return to the app and navigate back to either the "Games to Play" or
"Games Played" section.
4. Press the Update/Refresh button.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The "Games Played" or "Games to Play" list should be updated with the
latest changes that were made to the website; however, the app only
displays the original list that was downloaded the first time the app was
run. The new updates can only be acquired by clearing the game cache in
the settings and redownloading the data.

BGG app version 1.7 running on an iPhone 3GS running OS version 3.1.3 (this

Note that the update/refresh button works as expected for the "Games Owned"
