More and more frequently poloniex's websockets API is either slow or completely unresponsive. This means that no updates are being shown to the user with no feedback as to why. Currently the loading splash screen is removed on the callback of successful initial ajax requests for current market conditions and does not depend on the websocket connection. I propose to extend the splash screen to only be removed on a successful websocket connection and if after x amount of time a connection is not made, display a warning to the user.

As a result of using vanilla js and having a large amount of DOM manipulation, the code is messier than I'd like. I will be re-writing and transferring the entire code base to vue to address this.

Autobahn takes a long time to load on page load and doesn't add any features we use that the native websocket HTML5 implementation doesn't have.
