OrderBy fails on iOS with Unity 5.2

I tried this package but am still getting aot errors when calling the GetComponentsTopDown method below:

could i still use unlinq on my project?

As you said, unity use il2cpp to instead aot compiler in iOS, and we can use .net linq safetly in current project , for example orderby ..
could you tell me what 's the big difference between il2cpp and aot , and why il2cpp don't result error as aot compile oderby method ?
if i want to compile both mono and il2cpp application, can i still use the .net linq ?
