This program builds chrod pressions by genre using music theory. After a chord progression has been created, generate a midi file so you can play and listen to the chord progression.
This program takes in a key and genre. Then produces midi file containing a melody and chord progression following the rules of the key and genre. This solves and issue in music production which is creating a new melody and progression.
You run this program in the terminal, type Python3 chordProgressions.py In a later time, you will be able to input parameters such as C# Major Bluess (key, genre). For now, the program will generate a midi file in a "Three Chord" progresssion in Em.
