Installation instructions

I am trying to install krb5 and I am getting

k.c:1:18: fatal error: krb5.h: No such file or directory
 #include <krb5.h>

I understand that krb5 library (in C) is not included, and I wonder if it would be possible to provide some instructions for how to compile this useful library.
