I don't think so. Depending on the way you use the various spamblock plugins, you might as well want to moderate comments which are not pending. Or you might want to quickly moderate a comment which has slipped through the cracks of the spamblock mechanism.

The entry box just shows pending entries only..., I know this is a
little bit different to comments though.
That is why having two comment boxed would be a good idea to have...

I would really like to keep this core dashboard as simple as possible. Let's close the issue for now, but keep this in mind to bring this up again at the next devsprint.

The qeustion was, that the main edit area for comments is via sidebar comments link. That is why I thought to make this just a little bit different to this main comment edit area.
