The removal (Sabayon/sabayon-website-next#20) causes some adjustment in the default theme. Hence this ticket.

Right now, the navbar at https://next.sabayon.org/ behaves glitchy.

That is, the background jumps back and forth as soon as the background of the main section becomes white.

The background of the navbar does not overlay the background of the main section.

The transition isn't smooth as @mudler put it. It should only appear on scrolling down and not jump in that harsh.

Right now, we have some opening resp. closing tags in the partials without its corresponding part.

This prevents us from moving the partial around. The plus side is, that another theme is free to choose its dependencies. The markup would need some generalisation therefore though …

Since the community-website and sabayon-website-next repo got an meta.html partial it is safe to update this theme to make use of it.

This prevents some code duplication.

We cannot rely on JavaScript being present and executable.

Therefore we should take care in a <noscript>, that the site remains at least in a usable state. It must not be pretty, but usable.

On almost all sites we link to pastebin.sabayon.org and receive a 503 Service Unavailable.
