I guess you ran this job on your local machine? On an HPC it should run without any problems

I run the job on server with 32 CPU 8 cores. ~20K cells works fine. Is there a way to specify memory/CPU usage?

Hi @gt7901b,
please apologise my slow reply. Based on a quick search, your error message is related to sparse cholesky factorisation. I believe that this is somewhere used in the depths of the viper algorithm or Seurat objects. As we are not the developer of viper or Seurat I am afraid that we cannot help you there, even if I wish I could.
Just to be sure that this error is indeed not related to our viper wrapper I would recommend to run the original viper function on the isolated expression matrix from the seurat object.
