Remove vision, so the whole board can be seen. If necessary, colour the piece that moves / has just moved, to make it clear what is going on. Possibly add a manual previous / next button.

Show which colour you are, show which colour's turn it is currently and count the turns.

Currently should close gracefully in online direct mode.
Check if we close gracefully in online proxy mode.
We currently hang on ctrl+c, and hang the receiving client when we exit prematurely.

Check more situations, and check the proxy server state after these different ways of exiting

Make a way to disable the vision mechanic, giving full vision to a player. This way, the program can be used for normal chess as well. This would also help during the replay.

Make an editor where you can place pieces to make a starting board, preferably somewhere in the normal GUI.
