How to use

You need 7.1 audio device to be connected and selected as primary speaker, but don´t worry. You can also use virtual audio device. First of all check if your sound card or headphones does not support it and if they don´t use this guide.

  1. Download VB-Cable (better alternative: Raser Surround)
  2. Install it
  3. Reboot PC
  4. Go to sound settings
  5. Open Playback tab
  6. Set CABLE Input as default
  7. Click on Configure
  8. Set sound to 7.1 surround and enable all speakers
  9. Go to Recording tab
  10. Click on CABLE Output and click Properties
  11. Go to Listen tab
  12. Check Listen to this device
  13. Set your normal playback device
  14. Profit

Download

You can download latest compiled build from AppVeyor, releases or build it from source.

canetisradar's Issues

Issue running.

I've never compiled anything before so I tried it out. Was able to get an .exe created using Visual Studio Community, had to set overlay.resx and Mainform.rezx to unblock to successfully compile.

I run the .exe and get the initial dialog window for the program, clicking on Start Overlay throws an unhandled exception error: "Could not load file or assembly 'INIFileParsar Version=2.5.2.0 .........'
Clicking on Continue takes me to a gray box that says 'CanetisRadar Loading...' and nothing happens.

The AppVeyor repo seems to have been removed from inactivity. Hoping you can help a half deaf gamer out!

Not working?

The radar "tembles" at the top, it does not do anything else.

7.1 in vb cable

windows can't enable surround sound in the vb cable input. Anyone had this issue?

radar missing input from L & R

Hi there, I tested both with cable and razer surround 2.0 like instructions, when I choose playback => configure(both cable and razer) => 7.1 => test, the radar has no response when clicking the top middle, left and right speaker.
Where as the 4corner speaker (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right) show proper response on the radar.

Also when I try it out in pubg Training, it shows corresponding results as sound from mid left and right is very hard to locate. Was I miss out something, or was it intended? Thanks

Question

Anyone got any ideas on if I could select the frequency range I want the radar to work with? For example only the lows like 30hz through 300hz?
