Contributions to SAP BTP, Neo Environment Documentation

Found a mistake in our documentation? Always wanted to add a step in one of our procedures that could save many others much time? Then you're at the right place! All contributions made to the Markdown files in the docs directory are reviewed, and if deemed valuable be added to our official documentation on SAP Help Portal. The easiest way is to start there, and choose Edit to find the right Markdown file to contribute to.

Requirements

For contributions, it's required that you have a GitHub account. For more information, see Signing up for a new GitHub account in the GitHub documentation.

Contributing

We recommend using the SAP BTP, Neo environment documentation on SAP Help Portal as a starting point for contributions:

  1. Open the SAP BTP, Neo Environment Documentation.
  2. You can either:
    • Choose Feedback > Edit page to suggest a change for the current page you see in the Help Portal viewer, or
    • Choose Feedback > Create issue to open a GitHub issue in this repository.

If you only make a small contribution, that's the quickest way to propose a change. For larger contributions, we recommend forking this repository to work locally. The filenames in the docs directory are created based on the title of the page on SAP Help Portal.

btp-neo-environment's Issues

Register destination for connecting to google cloud apis

Issue description

I am currently trying to make a new destination for calling the firebase cloud messaging api and sending push notifications. The reason for that is because i do not have any backend where i can store my client secrets and other sensitive data i want to take advantage of the sap btp features. When i configure everything as of following this link as well https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/btp-sdm-gwi-create-destination.html
i still get an error that i am not authorized consuming the destination.
What is wrong and do i need additional configurations?

The link for HANA Cockpit https://./sap/hana/xs/admin/cockpit does not work for our HANA on Neo.

The HANA XSC Cockpit was discontinued with HANA 2.0 and that Cockpit had URLs like https://./sap/hana/admin/cockpit - whithout xs.

For HANA 2.0 the HANA Cockpit is a separate installation On-Premise - I don't know what the current state for HANAs on Neo is.

Kind regards,
Sebastian
