Custom Widget for Master Data - File Upload

Hi dear,

I think the File Upload Widget to upload fact data in the models is an great improvement for our end users. Congratulations :)

However, is there in the roadmap a plan to implement a custom widget to update master data in SAC? I mean in a massive way uploading excel/csv files, like we are able to do through the dimensions.

It would be perfect to have both solutions combined together. Or even having one button for each of them, giving the end user the option to when there is any failure in the fact data upload they can also upload the master data from the same screen.

Best Regards
Jessica Goncalves

Model Selection dropdown search functionality not consistent

When configuring the widget in a story if the user starts searching for a model it limits partial matches. User needs to keep typing for the expected model to appear. Not a major issue but annoying from usability perspective. It can lead to

Example: I want to select model "FRANK_MODEL"

If i start typing FRANK it only displays model FRANK_CC:
Note i have 15+ models starting with "FRANK" prefix
image

However if i keep typing "FRANK_M" the list updates to include several models matching that prefix:
image

If i continue typing to "FRANK_MOD" again my desired model "FRANK_MODEL" disappears
image

If i type the entire name "FRANK_MODEL" it still only displays "FRANK_MODEL2":
image

Finally if i delete the '2' at the end, "FRANK_MODEL" does appear in the dropdown. However even after selecting "FRANK_MODEL" from the drop down the widget is still configured from "FRANK_MODEL2".
Correct model ID for FRANK_MODEL should be C806zanezk8kfk4rfkoxwn9slc
