The GameServer "" is invalid

I'm probably missing something simple but there aren't many resources - excuse my ignorance.

I get:

The GameServer "" is invalid

when trying:

kubectl create -f example/mc-server.yml

Installed Minikube as described here:

Setup Agones per this:
https://agones.dev/site/docs/installation/install-agones/

No joy - am I using an old version of the agones api? v1 old?

Additional info: Trying to validate using kubeval outputted:

ERR - minecraft.yaml: Failed initializing schema https://kubernetesjsonschema.dev/master-standalone/gameserver-agones-v1.json: Could not read schema from HTTP, response status is 404 Not Found
