Migrate to lintPublish
https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/gradle-plugin#3-4-0
If you try to use your library + your own lint check module the build fails. Apparently this is due to a change where library projects should be using lintPublish?
lintPublish: Use this new configuration in library projects for lint checks you want to include in the published AAR, as shown below. This means that projects that consume your library also apply those lint checks.
Registry manifest key warnings on recent gradle
When using these checks on recent gradle and kotlin versions, the following warnings appear:
Custom lint rule jar /Users/buildmaster/.gradle/caches/modules-2/files-2.1/org.jetbrains/annotations/13.0/919f0dfe192fb4e063e7dacadee7f8bb9a2672a9/annotations-13.0.jar does not contain a valid registry manifest key (Lint-Registry-v2).
Either the custom jar is invalid, or it uses an outdated API not supported this lint client

These seem to not actually break anything, but just look annoying.
Migration to mavenCentral
For now, this library is available from jCenter repository, which is being deprecated:
http://developer.android.com/r/tools/jcenter-end-of-service
It would be nice to migrate it to mavenCentral() to be used further.
Request: have it as official addon for IDE Lint?
Is it possible?
If so, please do add it. Could be nice...
