Assuming a sheet is already created with properly formatted expense data, I need functionality that

• executes a Google Apps Script API call
• this will run a server-side script on the google sheet
• the server side script will return me a list of expenses by category
• I can then use the data to populate a list-view

The client-side code for #4 .
This will involve

• an activity
• a form to take in data
• a drop-down of some sort that populates the expense categories
• submit button.

On clicking submit button, instantiate the Google Script fragment #2 to call Google Apis.

This will prevent the need to regenerate the SHA every time you develop from a different repo.

The code that interacts with Google Play services should be placed in a fragment. This has the advantage that I won't have to reauthenticate every time I do a Google API call.

Assuming a spreadsheet is already created on Google Drive,
a server-side script needs to exist, which allows addition of an expense as well as category to the sheet.
