First, thank you for creating this tool.

Your code is beautiful, clean, and easy to read. However, I believe the URL used to extract a recoded is not correct. If it correct, them there is someone I'm missing.

Can you please provide an example of a valid input?
I tried id = "4cd223df721b722b1c40689caa52932a41fcc223" from http://labs.semanticscholar.org/corpus/ but failed to get record back. Below is the output.
