sdkman-website's Issues

Wrong link to MinGW

(Not sure where to file this issue, couldn't find any of the text of the docs on any of the repositories, so apologies if I missed it.)

On the sdkman.io/install page, it says:

The third solution is for Git users using the Git Bash for Windows environment. In order for this to work, the environment needs to be supplemented with MinGW to add the necessary toolchain to function.

The link to MinGW points to http://www.mingw.org/ which looks like a domain taken over by scammers.

I'm guessing the correct link is https://msys2.org and that MinGW has been replaced by MSys2?

Regardless, the link should be removed or replaced with a working link.

Bug: Config options documentation glitch

Bug report
The config option sdkman_selfupdate_enable described in your documentation is wrong. When looking at the actual config file, the name of the option is sdkman_selfupdate_feature.

To reproduce
cat <SDKMAN_DIR>/etc/config shows sdkman_selfupdate_feature=true

System info
Latest version installed via https://get.sdkman.io on Redhat Linux 8.6.

$ sdk version
SDKMAN 5.16.0

fork me img src gets 403

Summary

Hi there, I stumbled upon your site after reading this article.

It seems the "fork me" github widget in the top right is returning a 403 when requesting the img src.

Provide list of packages on website

@ieugen commented on Fri May 06 2016

It would be nice to have a list of packages or search on sdkman.io.

i also second this, it was really confusing for me at first when I recommended the tool to a colleague and said "hey, use this to install gradle" and then "oh wait, gradle istn't listed on the frontpage." followed by "oh wait it is listed in the examples, hm, what else does it support, where's the list??"
i don't want to have to install it to find out. Even if the list is slightly outdated (it could say 'this list may be out of date' or sth), it is better than no online overview at all.

SDKMAN jdks page should list Tencent Kona JDK

SDKMAN already supports Tencent Kona JDK, like the below,

% sdk list java | grep kona
Tencent       |     | 17.0.7       | kona    |            | 17.0.7-kona
              |     | 11.0.19      | kona    |            | 11.0.19-kona
              |     | 8.0.372      | kona    |            | 8.0.372-kona

But the below page doesn't list this JDK yet.
https://sdkman.io/jdks

Could this page add Tencent Kona?
Or, should I do something for that?

Docs don't mention WLS on Windows

The docs say that sdkman "requires Cygwin or MSYS+MinGW" on Windows. This isn't strictly true any more, and now that the Windows Subsystem for Linux is in the Microsoft app store, this is arguably the best option anyway. Works for me BTW with WLS Ubuntu.
