After I changed the type of a feed to Podcast, I can play one entry by TTS.
However, I couldn't add all of them to the playlist.
Long pressing an entry shows me "Play one", "Play", "Play next", "Add to playlist". None of them can add all entries to the playlist.

It would be nice if you could make the sidebar (the bar where you select the feed) optionally persistent.
This would greatly improve the reading and handling especially on larger devices.

Currently, FeedMe only supports Feedbin.com, but one can also host the Feedbin software privately as it is open source.
Support for an optional URL when entering Feedbin credentials would be nice.

Viewing the XKCD comic in FeedMe is great, because the image titles always contains a punchline and the title can easily be shown in feedly. Sadly, titles are cut off (or not shown at all as in the example below), when there is a &qout; html-entity in the title.

The top bar and floating read all button only hides on scroll while sync is actively running and then scrolled. They hide with a proper animation. But can not reappear either after sync ends or is cancelled. They can however be brought back by pressing the system's menu key.

It's reassuring to see an explanation why the invasive phone permission is needed but this isn't really a privacy policy.

I wonder:

• Does FeedMe only connect to my RSS provider like feedbin and only connects to external addresses that are listed in my feeds?
• Or does FeedMe collect any data and phone home to you or a third party? If so, what? Is the list of my feeds transmitted? Is my IMEI transmitted? Is any information about what I have in my storage transmitted?
• Is any third party library used that tracks?

Can you please add per page scrolling instead of swiping for e-Ink devices? Would improve the reading experience on those devices highly!

first of all, thanks for creating this great reader app without charging anything for it. It's one of the best mobile feedly clients I've found so far and I use it daily at the moment.

I've noticed that unlike the official feedly app and other third-party clients such as Palabre, FeedMe does not sync the builtin "Favorites" collection from the feedly cloud.
Is this intentional or is it missing because the feedly API treats it differently since it's builtin and not created by the user?

It would be nice to have an option in the context menu of a news item that marks all items above it as read.

After installing FeedMe, the HTTPS option is disabled by default. So if a user does not check the options thoroughly, he or she might perform an unencrypted sync.

In my opinion, HTTPS should be enabled by default.

First of all: Thank you for this perfect app and now the tt-rss support! It's the single best thing while on public transport because of the sync & keep as read function!

With the new tt-rss support I have a very strange problem:

When I mark a feed in the list view as read, some other feeds in the categorie view in the sidebar suddenly disappear.
The articles from them are still visible in the "All article" view and if I close FeedMe and reopen it the feeds reappear in the sidebar...?
Sometimes it also happens that there are categories in categoieres? That is also fixed by reopening the app - without a resync from the server.

I hope I described the problem understandable..

Version 3.5 (163) with tt-rss, didn't noticed that issue with feedly, did also a fresh install and it still happens

I have noted that I cannot connect to FreshRSS using HTTPS whem I'm at work network (my company's firewall is too restrictive).

Using chrome browser, I can connect to https://mydomain/FreshRSS/p/api/ but, only when I'm at work it shows a SSL certificate error. After adding an exception, I can navigate properly.

Does the FreshRSS API block the untrusted certificates? Is it possible to have an option in the login form to add exceptions?

I have my article list set to mark as read when scrolling. When I scroll to the bottom of the list, all the remaining articles showing on the screen get marked as read even though I have not read them yet. Is there a way to prevent this?

After synchronization, the on-screen buttons are always automatically opened.
Which is very uncomfortable and it is necessary to close them each time.

I specified a directory on my external SD card as cache location. After that, syncing aborts after a few seconds with the error "Local storage error".

But the storage permission is not needed if the cache location is set to default.
Please consider to request the permission only when the user wants to change the cache folder to a custom location.

Since the latest update (3.3.2) swipe from edge to close does not work anymore for the built-in browser.

现在的的备份会在根目录下新建文件夹 /feedme/backups/ 来储存 json 文件，要恢复也必须先将 json 放到这个文件夹。
但这样其实很不方便，用户备份一般会将 json 放到自己习惯的地方保管。
所以建议当默认位置不存在时，可以让用户主动选择备份/恢复的路径。
这么做的典型如 Nova Launcher。

另外建议将生成的文件在现在的命名前加上 feedme_ 的前缀，否则配置文件放多了真的搞不清哪个是哪个的。

More than disappeared, it seems the nab bar is too short to show them on my smartphone screen (I can see part of a number in the right edge). But it used to show them, so this breaks the usual behavior.

The app partially uses the default language.

I do not know if it's a matter of the API of FreshRSS or the implementation in FeedMe has to happen.
In FreshRSS you can hide feeds from the main feed. In FeedMe but they are still displayed in the total feed. I would like to have the category with the number of feeds shown and also selectable, but that the feed in the main feed is hidden.
Can you implement that?

Hello, with the latest update (v3.5.9 - release 172 201804211231) I can no longer sync with feedbin.com. I notice that the login has a host URL now. Using the default (https://api.feedbin.com/) doesn't work. It appears to authenticate, but doesn't sync articles. Leaving the host blank, or using another URL (such as https://api.feedbin.com/v2/) does not authenticate. I've cleared cache & data & also tried to uninstall/re-install. It still does not sync articles.

I miss articles when using it. Scrolling 90% would be ideal.

The teaser text for each item in the news list is cut off after a certain amount of characters. It would be nice to make this configurable because for me this is way too short.

主要是针对 Feed 视图吧：

• 延迟加载就是微信那样的，图片在可见区域时才加载（或者甚至可以只有在用户点击时才加载）；
• 点击刷新就是知乎那样的，第一次加载失败了就显示个灰框占位，点击一下就再刷新一下这张图片。

网络不好的时候这俩功能应该挺有用的，就是不知道实现难度如何 :-)

Will there come an integration/login for the power- and wonderful Tiny Tiny RSS reader?

I've set up some keyword filters in the app, based on the Github instruction examples, but articles still come through.

Does this need a paid Feedly account in order to filter, or is the filtering done within FeedMe?

Articles are blank since updating to 3.4.1, only title, number of words and estimated reading time are shown.

作为开源软件完全可以在 F-Droid 更新，同时大大方便**用户下载更新。

It would be nice if it was possible to sort the articles in alphabetic order. A few RSS streams I read have a very rigid format and it would be nice to be able to group all articles about the same subject together.

I had no clue that it existed until I miraculously found it.

when I add a new subscription to an existing category via the app, I get the mentioned error in FreshRSS log.
The subscription will be added anyway.

When Feedme fails to read, it shows blank articles without error, feedme shouldn't fail silently and tell the user there was a problem.

I have included image links in the feed with the media thumbnail tag. When feedme pulls new updates from the feed, it will not show these images. However, if I launch the official Feedly app, they do show up over there. Then, if I delete my cache on feedme and reload the feed, the images will show properly.

Is there anything I can do on my end to skip the middle man here? Could it be my htaccess blocking feedme from getting the images? I do have hotlink protection, but Feedly obviously gets around that. I didn't think it would be an issue, but that's the only idea I have.

Anything I'm missing?

I've been using FeedMe for quite some time and usually when you mark an article as read and then sync it, the read articles are removed from the feed.
Now it is so that the read articles no longer disappear, only if you click on a category.

Might be blind, but can't find a way to get the app to list articles oldest to newest? I.e I want the oldest articles on top, rather than the newest.

Is this already a feature somewhere, or could it be added if not?

Settings 1000 Articles, but only fetch 100 Articles. Config ist ignored.

This is pretty much the only thing missing that would make this app amazing in my eyes. If you could allow the user to reorder their subscriptions instead of showing them in alphabetical order, that would be great!
