brew install ruby use homebrew to install ruby
ruby -v Look up current ruby version
gem install rails --no-ri --no-rdoc install rails without documentation
gem list --local rails show local rails installations

Server

Command Description
rails about Information about current rails installtion
rails server Start local server on locahost:3000
rails server .b 0.0.0.0 Bind server to 0.0.0.0

Helper

Command Description
rails generate controller Say hello Creates Controller, Views, Routing and assets
