After updating to the new dokuwiki release, 2020-07-29 "Hogfather" I get a new error:

Edit: Nevermind, must have been some opcode caching. Restarted php-fpm and is good now.
From a conversation in the forum it turned out that footnote syntax ((footnote)) doesn't get prevented with this plugin. So, ''((footnote))'' doesn't show it as escaped code. But ''%%((footnote))%%'' does and it should work the same.
Just try something like this: ''\curl -sSL https://get.rvm.io | bash -s stable --autolibs=read-fail''
After "//" all text in the document becomes italic.
Please check whether it comes from the Dokuwiki core or from the UnformattedCode Plugin
