I do not see this info in the track properties.

Apple display it in Music app

and in the AirPods menu bar item.

I love this app -- but it does not seem to support displaying podcast info when playing something from Podcasts.app

Any chance of that getting fixed, or added as a feature? Thanks!

It would be great if the app started with Spotify automatically. And/or if the idle sound note icon could be disabled. Also, if the text would not display "Quit" on a normal left click, only on right click. And double click would bring Spotify forward.
Otherwise it's the best app of its kind I've found, simple and minimal.

A few weeks ago I noticed this no longer seemed to work with Spotify. Still works perfectly with Music. Thought I'd let you know.

👋 Hello! Thanks for creating this application! Today, I noticed it was no longer displaying the song details in the menu bar when using Spotify. I wonder if this has something to do with an update in Spotify's app recently? Also, the menu bar icon is not 🎵 but rather a dash -.

App launches and runs just fine, but does not display track information for the new Apple Music app in macOS 10.15 Catalina.

Some song titles might obviously be very long, which becomes an issue on smaller screens:

To remedy this, would it be possible to have a maximum width of the ticker and scroll the title back and forth? Here's a prototype I mocked in using Figma:
