Since the images are so big on the Event Pages, the text accompanying them should probably be .lead
to try to match that size.
The white underline on the navbar elements when hovered over may not be prominent enough. It might be preferable in the future to turn this into a border-bottom
instead of a text-decoration: underline
to separate the underline from the element text and make the line a little thicker.
On mobile, the carousel captions take up almost the entire height of the carousel images, which makes the white text especially hard to read. Some sort of translucent background or color change is necessary here.
The header text for the caption is probably big enough, but the text underneath could probably be bigger.
In order to align the dropdowns to the left in Bootstrap 3.0, custom CSS had to be used. In Bootstrap 3.1, however, there is a new feature that the site should be using to align its dropdowns.
It looks as though, instead of the normal grid system that Bootstrap follows, the Spotlight, Main Attraction, and Encore pages are instead getting partially cut off.
Currently, the website has no favicon but should definitely have one.
While the images on the Member Groups and Current Board pages are square on the desktop, they are squished into rectangles on mobile.
Bootstrap apparently uses quite a few fonts that don't exist on Windows by default. As a result, the fonts on the Mission and Member Groups/Current Board pages look particularly bad (the headers on the Member Groups and Current Board pages aren't even bolded).
Ideally, this can be solved by replacing the fallbacks with better fonts.
Bootstrap 3.1 is out, and the site should be taking advantage of all of the latest features and fixes.
When a user fills out the Contact form and submits to send an email, they are met with a refreshed blank form and no notification that the email was sent.
The carousel currently squishes all of the images due to the width constraints on mobile. My current thought on how to fix this is to use a similar solution as on the Mission page, where only a part of each image would be shown on mobile.
On the mobile site, half of the Google Calendar on the Calendar page is cut off, even though it should be displayed responsively.
While the carousel currently works correctly in that it takes up the full width of the screen, custom CSS is currently being used when the .container-fluid
class might actually do the trick.
