• the IDE seems to be more helpful in quick styling than GitHub issue editor.

Ideas:

• create a work in progress pull request, and have the issue details updated and reviewed there..

  • this might require some changes to the project board automations
  • can it be edited by the reviewer?
    • the reviewer can add comments indicating what should be amended
  • can pull requests be checked out locally?
  • in vscode, yes. But the plug-in is still under review. Will have to get a feel before finally including this in delightful workflow

• do markdown style formatters exist?

  • yes. Remark. With linting and autoformatting plugins as well.

• can closed pull requests be viewed?

  • will know for sure during the test drive.

• does this workflow change limit us to GitHub? Or can other code collaboration service providers also support this workflow?

  • it's smoothest with GitHub, because of its deeper integration with vscode. But it's possible with other services.

in the current version of delightful workflow,the feature branched is merged into master once testing is complete.

for the sake of clean git histories, among others, consider rebasing on master instead as the official recommendation of delightful workflow.
