Hi, I'm Shahid. I am presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I began my tenure at UAP as a lecturer in January 2022. Prior to this, I held the position of Lecturer cum Computer Programmer at Villa College, Maldives, located at the QI campus in Malé, from August 2019 to December 2021.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc. Engg.) and Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Engg.) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University (KU) in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Additionally, I gained research experience as a research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Professor in the CSE Discipline at KU.

I have contributed to numerous publications in international conferences and journals published by Elsevier Science and IEEE. My research focuses on Bioinformatics and Machine Learning.
