Hey, I'd love to test this out.

Currently running over 10+ sites with WP-Rocket and can certainly test over there.

Autoptimize offers a filter to enable pre-compression for the generated CSS and JS files. All cached files are then also available as .gz - and if PHP's brotli extension is available - also as .br. In order to make use of this feature, one just has to add this code:
add_filter('autoptimize_filter_cache_create_static_gzip','__return_true');
Or else install the autoptimize gzip plugin which adds this this line of code.

The CSS file created by autoptimize-unusedcss powerup does not yet implement this filter. And as I have on-the-fly compression disabled, the file is currently transmitted without any compression. It would be great, if this powerup was able to pre-compress CSS files, too.

Hi there, I always have trouble with unused CSS and many times attempted to remove it manually which is almost an impossible task.

Just saw someone shared this within the Facebook group and am excited to be part to beta testers, I work for an agency and can test on all kind of websites such as LMS, Membership, WooCommerce and so on.

I have some neat use cases to test this out and see if it works as intended.

This is a non-technical issue.

The wording of the minify option is unclear to me: Disable Minify -- minify and remove css comments via the api. When the option is clicked, does it mean minification is disabled or enabled?

Similarly, I am not 100% sure about the others: E.g. does Disable Variables -- remove unused css variables mean that I disable the function to remove unused css variables? Or does it actually enable this function. If the latter, maybe "Remove variables" would be a better title?

FYI, I also tested new code from Master. Plugin installed, CSS files are generated, but they seem to be never linked in the pages. But you probably knew this already...
