While built with Python 2/3 compatibility in mind, we haven't actually tested whether the plugin works with Python 2. We should do that, and adjust the code as necessary.

Currently, authentication works only when the specified profile assumes a role, and therefore a session token. If the profile uses an access key and secret key directly, the GET request to obtain a sign-in token results in a 400 Bad Request. We protect against this contingency, but should really fix the underlying problem.

Currently, if I try to log in to separate profiles in quick succession, the first will succeed, while the second will open this page:

The easy workaround is to open the second profile in a separate browser, but the experience sucks, and should be fixed.
