Sorry I didn't reply to the real issue earlier.

If you're on linux, my guess is you're running as user "root" (directly, or using "sudo"), which will cause these issues due to how Docker works on native Linux and the assumption of Vessel that you'll be running as a non-root user on your Desktop linux.
