For me it is key to be able to have some sort of ability to filter cities within a country. In my scenario, I want to get only the top 5 cities by population per country.

Usually, when dealing with cities, the ones used are the "most important ones", and in this case, for me, the most important ones are the ones that have the most population.

Some German city names use Umlauts (e.g. Münster) and some don't (e.g. Dusseldorf -> Düsseldorf).
What is the source of your City names?

It would be great if the results can be returned in a language specified. For example, I would like to see the name of French cities in French language, not English. Or Chinese names in Chinese, etc.

Do you plan something like that?
