Watson_Psychoanalysis

To view the User Login Page which connects to ContextIO API (Python) and enters a new account to the emails

Dependencies:

ContextIO's Python Library
Flask
Optional: could also set up a virtualenv

Install the dependencies

pip install contextio
pip install flask

Clone the app

git clone https://github.com/ShrutiAppiah/Watson_Psychoanalysis.git

Move to userLogin Directory

cd userLogin

Run loginHandler.py

python loginHandler.py

Skeleton up

Create an the skeleton on AWS/Heroku with the the python (flask framework), mongodb, d3 integration

Create App Video

The submission requirements include a video of the hack.

Python Logic needs to be set up on loginHandler.py and userLogin.js

I will be using an AJAX command to send user information to loginHandler.py from the html page and also processing that and then calling on Context IO API.

Sorry about the delayed progress, this is the second time I've used Flask so I'm still learning, usually code with node.js 😋

User registration -- backend

add user name and password to DB, initial mine of existing user emails... save in mongodb

Begin Submission

Start the submission process with DevPost, the earlier the better.

Integrate Context IO Python library

Aside from importing the context io library, also have our dev creds and authetication
