Minimalistic thesis template for IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

Usage

While editing, please start from main.tex.

Inspiration

At the time of writing my IDD thesis, I found a very good LaTeX template. It had a minor problem though.

Being a modified version of a Cambridge University's thesis template, and the complexities of the original template, I found it hard to navigate through and make custom design changes in it.

This inspired me to write this minimalistic thesis template for IIT (BHU) Varanasi from scratch.

Some enhancements for thesis template

According to the latest thesis guidelines

The following sequence for the thesis organization should be followed:
(i) Preliminaries
(ii) Text of Thesis
(iii) References and Bibliography
(iv) Appendices

The preliminaries consists the following in the sequence as mentioned below:
• Title Page
• Certificates
• Acknowledgement and/or Dedication
• Table of Contents
• List of Figures, Tables, Illustrations
• Symbols used
• Preface

Requirements:

1. Shift "Preface" after ToC, Lists
2. Add "Symbols Used" in example document --> https://www.overleaf.com/learn/latex/Nomenclatures#Introduction
3. Add Appendices in example document --> https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/49643/making-appendix-for-thesis
