This is repository of the code to analysis data of 2019 Novel Corovirus cases.

This is the data repository for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Visual Dashboard operated by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering (JHU CSSE). Also, Supported by ESRI Living Atlas Team and the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU APL).

Parse data efficiently

Use high-performance computing techniques including

  • Multiple core for loop for parsing
  • Use data block to parse data in time series based parsing
  • Research how to use hardware accelerators to do faster parsing.

Scatter map

Add bubble map from the time series data from JHU repository.

  • Add parsing method to parse data from time series

  • Compile the parsed data from the time series

  • Add method to animate geo scatter plot based on number of cases, deaths and recovered both on world and US and color the bubble based on the rate of growth.

Visualize data frame

To refactor the data frame so that it is easy to filter out the data from particular geographical region.

Automation of data analysis

Automate the data analysis using reading from new daily reports and also writing them out in the compiled data as csv file
