Hi Sid,
thanks for the project. I wanted to submit to you a problem that I had with my laser and that maybe it can be useful to others too. The laser is a 5.5W TTL 0-5V 0.25Khz modulation. When I connect the circuit, the laser turns on at maximum power and it is not possible to modulate it. I also tried to bypass JP1. I have checked and actually on the pin of TTL output port the status varies from 0 to 5V in accordance with the fan speed. The same problem of turning on at maximum power happens with the control circuit supplied (it is part of this plotter) if I do not connect the USB first. Hope you can help me do some tests to make it work with your circuit.

Ive tried to upload to jlcpcb to have them assemble this board for me but i cant seem to find any of your components in their library. im having a hell of a time trying to get this board made. im sure you are a busy person but if you dont mind laying out some information that could help me get this built without the major headache ive had so far i would be very grateful.
