After the current release Version 2.6 - RC 1 - ExploData and Display Updates BioScan no longer works for me. I only get the information "BioScan: DB Migration Failed".

Hi there! I apologize for doing this in the form of a Github issue, but this was the only contact method I am aware of 😅
I was wondering, what is the intended result of get_parent_stars()? I notice that in my limited testing, it seems to only return the main star in the system. In cases where the main star does not match the rule, but the star which is the direct parent of a body does, the species is ruled out.
This can be seen here, in the 16 Lambda Piscis Austrini system:

The thing is, this seems to be the correct behavior, for in every instance of this I've seen the predicted species is correct. So that left me curious.

I had some trouble having bioscan show up after the new update and I've just fully reinstalled the new DB manager as well.
Bioscan won't show up in options to mess with the settings so I don't know what's wrong there. I followed the exact installation instructions as well.

No matter what I do 2.7.3 version, on ED Market Connector 5.10.1+5419e2e, always get the message "BioScan: Database Mismatch" and "You May Need to Update", as the image I attached.
Had to go back to version 2.7.2.
Any workaround?

Right now I am wandering through the Trumpler 16 cluster on the way back to the bubble, and I found a planet with high exobiology potential.
However, after finishing the surface scan, one of the biological signals (a Tussock) shows a blank name and a 0 Cr value.

UPDATE: after scanning, the species was identified as a Tussock Caputus - Green
UPDATE 2: looking at the ruleset code I can see the problem - the Outer Orion Spur was not considered a potential region for it!

Please, keep imports in proper case. It is named all lower-case, and your upper-case fails to load on Linux silently.

2nd thing, right now I develop own updated version of the overlay for Linux. I managed to use TTF fonts. That is how your texts look on size 16. Cannon's texts looks ok on 16/18/20/22. Not sure how they do though.
Maybe we could add some additional API to request font size.

I do not know if it is just load.py that is "old", but at line 63 of the package downloaded from the 2.5.3 release it still says 2.5.2, which in turn has the plugin warn that 2.5.3 is available :)
2.5 isn't working for me at all. I've tried installing twice - and while FSS scanning, when I find biologicals BioScan shows nothing on the EDMC window like it usually does. Additionally, when I try to run the journal scan it just sits at 0% indefinitely and makes no progress. I've tried reinstalling then FSSing without the journal scan process running at all, and still get no results in EDMC. I ended up having to revert back to the previous version which still works.
