Since the rewrite of the library to use int16_t instead of float type for the measurements, the hPa reading in the BME280 etc. sensors will overflow it. The returned value is typically something over 600, which results in an integer of over 60000 and the int16_t only allows up to 32000.

One workaround could be to return kPa instead to reduce the integer by an order of magnitude. Although this would reduce the precision, that last digit was smaller then the precision of the sensor anyway and always in flux.

In a terminal do:

nc -q -1 [ip] [port]

Then interrupt your client with Ctrl+C and try to request any value, e.g.:

echo ? | nc -q -1 [ip] [port]

Expected result: The device returning usage instructions.

Actual result: The command hangs indefinitely until interrupted.

Run the following command to request two values nearly at the same time:

(echo "?" | nc -q -1 [ip] [port] &);(echo "?" | nc -q -1 [ip] [port])&

Expected result: The two values are returned directly after each other.

Actual result: The second request can only connect after the first result is processed. Only one TCP connection at the same time is possible. This allows for a denial of service if the TCP connection is held open.
