blimps with large ads on their sides will effectively be the "post" objects for the homepage
biplanes with tailing banners will also work
blimps will be able to follow the player while they are flying

scrolling or clicking a button will automatically fly the player to the next post
player can take full control of the plane at any time

this is just placeholder logic until an eventual quaternion refactor

the materials I am specifying in code are not being applied

The solution may be to explicitly make meshes and materials, not just parent the scene children directly from the gltf, like in this example: https://discourse.threejs.org/t/changing-material-s-of-a-mesh-in-runtime/10122
