Well, I did something like this using the closure that seems to work, in case anybody else runs into this problem:
"test whatever": function() {
var params;
//expectAsserts(1);
this.server.respondWith('POST', '/sync', function(xhr) {
params = JSON.parse(xhr.requestBody);
//assertEquals('', params.category_ids, [1,2]);
});
// ....
this.server.respond();
assertTrue('description', params.prop);
},
Any better ways of doing this?

Yes :) First of all; It sucks that we swallow the exception. I've been thinking that Sinon should have an internal logger utility where these kinds of things could be broadcast.
To solve your current problem, try this:
"test whatever": function() {
// ....
var req = this.requests[0];
assertTrue('description', JSON.parse(req.requestBody).prop);
},
In other words, this.requests
(actually this.server.requests
) is an array of all requests fired in the current test. Does that help?
from sinon.
Yes, that works quite well. Thank you.
