The extension solves the purpose of combining multiple files.
However, could it be extended to combine just a section (i.e. heading) OR snippet (i.e. particular lines) from the source file to the destination file ?
The inclusion statement may look like the following in both cases :
In the case the referenced file name does not exist, instead of the preview just ignoring the include (or show a message on the preview).
VSCode informs in the debug console about an ENOENT error with detail of no such file or directory existing. The origin of the error is reported as being is from the underlying markdown-it-include extension:
