This is a template theme we use at SK8Tech. This document lists out the required steps to create a custom WordPress theme for our clients.

functions.php

  1. Change parentThemeDirectoryName on to our selected parent theme.
  2. Change childThemeName to out client's website name.

style.css

  1. Change to the child theme name
  2. Change to the client website link
  3. Change to the client website name
  4. Change to parent theme name
  5. Change to parent theme directory name

This is a template. Open it, change the logo to client's logo.

Remove the remove-before-usage folder
