What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install "Hide Caption Titlebar plus 0.9.0.2"

Firefox window without title bar, visible Windows taskbar is expected. I
get Windows task bar hidden under Firefox window, much like in Firefox full
screen mode.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP SP3, Firefox 3.5, Hide Caption Titlebar plus 0.9.0.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Provide an option to hide the custom caption/title bar when restored

Nice add-on! Till now I m using 'Hide caption bar' add-on. But it is not
compatible with TMP. So I switched to this, but found another annoying
feature/bug.

Provide an option to enable/disable custom caption bar. All I m using this
add-on only to get rid of that extra bar even when the window is in restore
mode (other than maximized mode). If this add-on is adding its own custom
bar instead of the standard one, I don't think this serves the main purpose
fully!

Maximized Firefox doesn't notice resolution changes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Maximize Firefox with Hide Caption Titlebar Plus, options set to Smart
All / Multiple-Automatic
2. Change screen resolution to higher/lower resolution

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Maximized Firefox window should adpapt to the current resolution,
also taking the windows task bar in account.

Current situation: Maximized Firefox window keeps previous dimensions,
resulting in either a too small window (new resolution is higher) or a too
big window, overlapping the windows taskbar (new resolution is lower).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Firefox 3.6, Hide Caption Titlebar Plus 0.9.3.2, Windows XP Pro SP3.

Please provide any additional information below.
Besides little flaws a really nice addon. Thanks!

Difference between Active / Inactive window too subtle

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable hide-caption-titlebar-plus to hide titlebar
2. Switch between firefox and another window
3. The only sign that the window is inactive is the grayed-out menu items.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would hope to see the tab bar background whiten when inactive or be a
different colour when active.

Please provide an option to choose a background coloration for the tab bar
on an active window, or for an inactive window, or both. Thank you!

sometimes fiddling with preferences and re-applying hid title bar after a

Can we get a Blue (or Gray) - CLOSE button instead of the Red to match the
Chrome Theme Better?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see a RED close button

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows - 0.9.3.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Would be nice to be able to go 100% chrome with min, max, close in upper
right but if not possible - a chrome blue or gray (to match the min, max) to
complete the chrome look would be nice. (as a selectable option since peeps
not using chrome will want the RED close button)

One pixel sliver in maximized Firefox window. (Taskbar-space)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Nobar (http://myadarola.blizzle.com/pub/methodik/) starts automatically
with Windows.
2. Start Firefox.
3. One pixel sliver of the desktop will appear when Firefox is maximized.
If the taskbar position option is switched to top, left, right, etc., the
pixel sliver will move to different sides of the screen, accordingly.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a fully maximized Firefox window extending to all edges of
the screen. Instead, I see a one pixel sliver of my desktop on one edge of
the screen, as the add-on assumes I have a taskbar, which I don't. (Nobar
kills the taskbar -- I use it because I use RocketDock and Launchy instead
of the Windows taskbar.)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm running the latest version of this add-on on Firefox 3.6 on Windows XP SP3.

Please provide any additional information below.

flickering/resizing window

windows xp
ff 3.5.2
hide caption ext 0.9.0.3p

with 'smart all' option selected (maybe others as well)...

if i click to change from maximized to a smaller window, then click again
to maximize, the FF window flickers and changes from maximized to a window
that is about 200 px short on the right side to maximized again. i also
see there is a delay in hiding the title bar (100 MS or so). also, when
clicking to make a smaller window, FF does not seem to remember previous
position or size.

FIXED: Provide an option to hide the custom caption/title bar when restored

Nice addon! But I hope giving the option to enable/disable the custom
caption/title bar visibility to the user.

All I m using this add-on is only to get rid of extra bar. But if this

much helpful!

Hope this is not a big requirement, but helps me and all a lot.

3. Here is the program. http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Using StrokeIt mouse gesture up / slash it maximizes/restores page.

but I am limited because I cannot go lower than the bottom border of the

top, but not the the bottom. Thank you for your work. I look forward to

Extra option for Drag FF Window using Menu bar + double clicking to minimize/maximize

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable hide-caption-titlebar-plus to hide titlebar
2. Open many tabs so there is little free area left in tabbar.
3. Try to drag using menu bar (using large gray space to right of menu items)
4. No option to make this work.

Often there very little space left in the tabs bar for dragging. There
always a large free space for draggin in the menu bar. Please make FF
draggable by the free menubar space.

It would also be fantastic to add an option for double-clicking the
tab/menu bar for added use for those are wanting substitute the behaviour

Vista not recognising when FF is maximised?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Firefox on Vista without hide-caption-titlebar-plus
2. Maximise and unmaximise the window, noting the colour of the taskbar
3. Run Firefox on Vista with hide-caption-titlebar-plus installed
4. Maximise and unmaximise the window, noting the colour of the taskbar

Vista allows the user to change the colour of the taskbar and a window's
titlebar (right click the desktop -> personalize -> window color and
appearance), but when a window is maximised, that window's titlebar goes
black, as does Vista's taskbar.

However, with this add-on is installed, the taskbar does not go black when
Firefox is maximised.

Versions: FF 3.5, Vista SP2, hide-caption-titlebar-plus 0.9.3.2

A minor issue maybe, and I very much like this add-on. But this bugs me

When one window is being minimized, it opens another window

I have this issue on two computers (FF3.5.2 on Vista SP2 and FF3.5.2 XP
SP3). Moreover, I tried Hide Caption, and got the same effect. You might be
the first to fix it! :)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open two FF windows.
2. Maximize them, so that you have three new buttons to the right of
address bar and Google Search bar.
3. Click Minimize button, this minimizes one window, then click Minimize
button of the other window, this minimizes the window, and restores the other.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If one window is open, and the other is minimized using 'standard' methods,
then by pressing Minimize button you get both minimized -- OK, but if both
are open, you minimize one of them, and then try to minimize the other --
this will restore the first window.

FIXED_DUPLICATED issue: Title-bar should always be hidden as long as this add-on is enabled.

Under the present configuration your add-on is useless to anyone running
two monitors set up to run as one, and is not great for most everyone else.

The window controls should reside on the right side of the tab-bar.

Only the active tab should carry text. The others should be identified
only by icons or numbers. The "Tab Progress Bar" add-on can be
reconfigured to act like a faucet filling a jar.

There's no need for the same info to be carried by the title-bar, the tabs,
and the task-bar. Eliminate it in both the title-bar and the task-bar.
Perhaps that will allow the status-bar to be fused with the latter.
