Since I'm cleaning up my scripts to incorporate the new postp/gridop/vmodes tools, I thought it would be nice to handle correctly the xgcm grid object.
My question is as follows: suppose I'm working on a sub-portion of the domain, hence (i)sel-ing my datasets. How can I get xgrid to adapt to this new domain size? Do you think it is even possible with the metricsterms built in, or should I just re-create a new xgrid object?
